Thank you for your interest in the Digital Microbiology Healthy Urogenital Biome Study. The purpose of this study is to better understand the microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses that are present in the urinary microbiome in participants who are NOT affected by frequent, recurrent or chronic urinary tract infection. We refer to the microorganisms in the urinary tract and vagina as the urogenital microbiome. These microorganisms play an important role in maintaining health by protecting against infections and supporting normal bodily functions. Participation would last about 7 days.
To see if you might qualify for this study, we need to ask you some questions about your health history and current health status. Please be aware that answering yes to some of these questions does not necessarily exclude you from participation, but the information we collect is important for the study itself. Some of these questions may be sensitive, such as questions about your experience with urogenital symptoms and other medical conditions.
If you do not qualify for this study, the information you provide will be stored until data collection for the study is finished and will then be deleted. If you do qualify for this study but we have reached our quota for participation, you will be added to a waiting list. If a place in the study then becomes available, we will invite you to join at that time.
Please complete the survey once only as the system will flag duplicate submissions. If you do not complete the survey the first time you may return to do it again. This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
